Expansion Of Getz Healthcare (Hong Kong) Ltd Through The Acquisition Of Three HCD Companies

We are pleased to announce that Getz Healthcare (Hong Kong) Ltd has acquired HealthCare Dental Ltd, HealthCare Diagnostics Ltd and Line Analytics Life Sciences Ltd.

Dr George Cautherley, Managing Owner of the three HCD companies, has decided that it is time for him to retire. Together with his financial partner, the Morningside group, they have agreed to exit these companies, so that Getz HealthCare can acquire 100% ownership.

“This is a move that is more than somewhat overdue, as I am well past normal retirement age. It was important to me to take the time to identify a buyer that shares a similar philosophy with myself and the company, so that there would be continuity in the company’s approach to business, with which you are familiar. In addition, it was important to me that going forward the company could be part of a multi-national organisation, able to provide guidance and strong financial support for its further development,” shared Dr Cautherley.

He continues, “The added bonus that Getz Healthcare provides is the long-term stability of being a family-owned company, now being run by the second generation with the assistance of experienced professional managers. I strongly believe that this acquisition will be beneficial for both the company, its suppliers and customers, like yourself. Of course, it is sad, even something of a wrench, for me to part from an organisation I had established from scratch in 1979, but I do so fully confident I am transferring it to very capable hands.”

With the acquisition, Getz Healthcare is now able to serve more customers and provide a broader range of products and services.
