Drying cabinets can dry at up to a maximum of 50°C above room temperature. They can be used in pharmaceutical / cosmetic manufacturing, food testing industry, automotive and aerospace industries, and electronics (PCB) manufacturing, as well as science labs in schools, colleges and universities.
LEEC drying cabinets are ideal for drying theatrical wigs and costumes and are popular with theatrical production companies, film / TV show producers. They are often referred to as "wig dryers" or a "wig dryer". They can hold several head blocks.
LEEC drying cabinets are made from rust resistant steel which is finished in white polyester powder coat paint as standard. They have heatproof toughened glass doors to British Standards. The wire mesh shelves are removable and can be adjusted for height every 25mm. Heating elements are waterproof and are located underneath a perforated floor, which is finished in unpainted, polished stainless steel. Temperature control is by Simmerstat giving any desired temperature up to a maximum of 50°C above ambient temperature.
Model Range
The standard "natural convection" drying cabinets are supplied with a sliding stainless steel shutter on top for ventilation. LEEC drying cabinets are also available with a circulation fan or extract fan. A circulating fan gives better drying performance. The air is drawn upwards through the body of the cabinet and returned via a full width air duct to the heaters in the base. Where an extractor fan for exhausting moisture to outside the building is fitted, the fan will be located in a chimney which adds approximately 200mm to the overall cabinet height and terminates in a 100mm diameter spigot.
Sliding Door Models (LS and SS)
Both of these small drying cabinets are made of steel and are finished in white powder coated paint with heat proof toughened glass sliding doors. The perforated floor is finished in unpainted, polished stainless steel.
Three wire mesh shelves (included) are removable and can be adjusted for height every 19mm. Temperature control is by Simmerstat giving any desired heat up to a maximum of 50°C above ambient temperature.
Both models have fixing holes in the back to allow for wall mounted if desired.
